The route at a glance
- Follow the tavern lead to Master Elzevir’s house next door.
- Use Aaron to open the house for Noa and retrieve the Warden’s seal.
- Speak with Aelbert Elzevir upstairs and follow him to the courtyard.
- Light the torches, complete Nominem and Aaron’s scratch, then finish the confrontation.
- Return to the work chamber, open the Fyrian Door and gather Noxifer.
1. Let Aaron open the front door
The front door is latched from inside. The open window immediately beside it gives the cat a route into the building.
- Check the door as Noa, then switch to Aaron.
- Jump through the low open window beside the door.
- Approach the inside of the front door as the cat and use Unlatch.
- Switch back to Noa and open the door.

47:24 — The open window gives Aaron access to the inside latch.

47:32 — Use Unlatch as Aaron; Noa can then open the door.

The cat can use openings that Noa cannot. In the recording, Aaron leaves through another window, follows the exterior ledges, and re-enters rooms filled with books before reaching the seal.
- Explore the window route as Aaron. Follow the building’s ledges and open shutters to reach the upper rooms.
- Look for the table by the window, beside the tilted book stand and stacks of books. The seal interaction glows red in the recording.
- Take the item as Aaron, then carry it back to Noa. The Bringing Items Back tutorial explains that it enters the inventory after the return.
- Check for The Warden of Scriptures’ Seal notification. Make sure the internal route is unlatched before continuing upstairs with Noa; her dialogue also checks the trap door.

49:54 — Search for this table in the upper rooms after following the cat’s exterior route.

50:22 — This notification confirms the seal reached Noa. Taking it as the cat is only the first part.

Go through the house’s kitchen and up the wooden stairs to Aelbert Elzevir. He explains that Noxifer is hidden behind a Fyrian Door in his work chamber. Follow him outside for the ceremony.
- In the courtyard, use the torch interactions requested by Elzevir and finish the conversation.
- During the ceremony he gives his original name: Maarten Elzevir. This is separate from the public name Aelbert shown on his dialogue.
- Use Noa’s revealed form and follow the Nominem aiming and casting tutorial on the identified target.
- Switch to Aaron when directed and scratch Elzevir to create the breach.
- Finish the resulting Amalgam fight and its reward sequence before returning to the house.

55:05 — The tutorial requires an identified Original. Complete the spell and Aaron’s scratch before the fight.

- Return to Elzevir’s upstairs work chamber after the courtyard encounter.
- Reveal Noa’s magic and locate the two candle holders with floating red leaves.
- Target and enchant both candle holders in sequence, then use Ignite. Enchanting only one does not complete the tutorial sequence.
- Enter the revealed space and use Gather on the book. This is the Noxifer objective Elzevir described.

1:00:30 — Enchant both candle holders, then ignite them to reveal the hidden room.

1:00:44 — Opening the door is followed by a separate Gather interaction on the book.

| Blocker | What to check |
|---|---|
| The front door is still latched | Use Aaron through the adjacent window and interact with the inside latch. |
| Aaron has the seal, but the objective has not advanced | Return the carried item to Noa and wait for the named seal notification. |
| Noa cannot follow the cat upstairs | Check the internal latch/trap door; the cat’s window route alone does not open Noa’s route. |
| The ritual seems unfinished | Nominem is followed by Aaron’s scratch and the confrontation. |
| The hidden room will not open | After the encounter, reveal Noa, enchant both candle holders, then Ignite. |
