Why the Agnes ritual will not start in 1666: Amsterdam

1. Return to the chest beside the large window and open it if it is still closed.
2. Count four separate candle pickups; opening the chest alone is not enough.
3. Check the floor below the shelf near the mirror for the Dry Leaves.
4. Search the bag on the sofa and collect the item revealed inside.
5. Return to the bed only after all three relic interactions are complete.

The chest produces four individual candle objects rather than one combined pickup. It is easy to collect some of them, leave the chest, and assume the candle requirement has been satisfied.

Games.gg and All Things How both identify a missed candle as the first thing to check. Use the window and wooden chest in the screenshot to return to the correct container. Levas’ Demo footage at 22:33 shows loose candles on the floor in front of it, and the notification reaches x4 Candles at 22:37.

1. At the chest, use the displayed Open input if needed.
2. Collect every remaining candle separately; the requirement is four pickups in total.
3. Return to the bed after completing the other two relic locations as well.

At the round mirror, search the shelf if you have not already done so. After the vase falls, look down and collect the Dry Leaves. The falling animation alone does not finish this task.

At the striped sofa, hold Search on the bag, then collect the relic revealed among the clothes. The Demo pickup notification reads Tapestry; Bedrest is the name used in some written accounts of the same bag location.

The collected walkthroughs report no required pickup order and no puzzle combination. They point to incomplete collection as the route blocker.

If all pickups are complete and the bed remains inactive, the cited guides do not establish another fix. Capture the chest, shelf floor, sofa bag, and bed prompt when reporting the issue so the remaining interaction can be checked. A restart or reinstall is not a source-verified solution here.
