Official status comes first

The official Steam listing currently rates the game Unsupported on Steam Deck. That is the reliable top-line answer for buyers checking Valve compatibility.

A community compatibility rating answers a different question and can change with game patches, Proton versions, and user settings. It should not be promoted above Valve’s current status.

What the community reports show

  • ProtonDB displayed 14 total reports and a Gold aggregate rating during the August 29 community-data check.
  • One Deck demo report described performance around 20 fps even on low settings with aggressive FSR.
  • Another Deck report called performance imperfect but playable and reported no full freezes.
  • Several reports concern the older Prologue/demo, so they should not be assumed to describe the current Early Access build.

Practical purchase decision

If Steam Deck is your only device, treat Valve’s Unsupported rating as the purchase baseline and wait for a status change or current-build reports that clearly identify the game version. The official PC requirements also require hardware ray tracing and list an RTX 2060 Super-class minimum GPU, which is a warning sign for handheld performance expectations.
